The model denomination describes the technical specifications of our product families.
It stands for type of axle, inner disk depth, size of the disc brakes or the axle load.
It is the basis for all further technical design of the assemblies.
The above figure shows an example of a model denomination such as you will find on every assembly drawing in your technical handbook.
The Order Code is based on the above-mentioned model denomination, but in addition defines the precise technical characteristics of each individual axle. Apart from the axle model, here the type of brake, the wheel /spring track or the ride height, for instance, are unequivocally defined. Beyond that, the type of air bellows, brake cylinders and optional accessories can also be defined.
To each of the axles you order an Order Code is assigned; this is listed on the order confirmation as well as on the following forms, such as the delivery note and invoice.
Examples showing how the Order Code is composed, and which technical features are possible, can be downloaded on the left-hand border of the image.
